Student Challenge
Three A Level students from Saracens High School had no sooner finished their exams than they were scarpering up the three highest mountains in the UK, all within 24 hours, for the Three Peaks Challenge. Quick quiz: Can you name the three highest mountains in the UK? Answers below.*
We are thrilled to share that our adventurous alumni completed the challenge and met their fundraising target of £1500 for Saracens Foundation. Saracens Foundation do brilliant work in our community and were incredibly touched that these students had taken the initiative to raise money to support this work.
After they’ve had a few days to recover, we look forward to hearing more about the highs and lows of working together as they trekked in blazing sunshine, reaching snow-capped peaks, and needed head torches as darkness fell. Photos from the challenge are breathtaking and we’re sure these young men will remember this adventure for the rest of their lives.
We hope this is the start of many fundraising initiatives by pupils and alumni from across our schools. Congratulations Haroon, Adam and Freddie!
*The three highest mountains in the UK are…Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scarfell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales)
